Service Project Gratitude

Thank you to everyone who made Troop 701’s last two service projects such a big success!

The Strongsville Yard Charge took place on November 3, with approximately 115 volunteers in attendance. This year, we were able to help 22 households who needed our assistance. Special thanks to Tom Coray and Scott Weeks, who organized our troop’s efforts, as well as the entire project for our community.

Troop 701 participated in a conservation service project with the Cleveland Metroparks on November 17. Ten scouts and four adults cleaned up leaves, spread gravel, and did some planting to beautify a portion of the Metroparks near the marina. Special thanks to Rich Noga who worked with the Metroparks to create this opportunity for our scouts.

Job well done, everyone!

For 40 years, boys have joined Troop 701 of Strongsville, Ohio for one simple reason: "Because they wanted to." Together on the Scouting trail to Eagle they experience adventure, discovery and teamwork.
