Great job by everyone who attended our Backpacking Camp this past weekend! We hope you learned some new skills and had a fun time; all of you should be very proud of what you accomplished! We will be having an Advancement Night this Tuesday from 7:00-8:30 PM at Bonnie Park in the Metroparks. Please dress for the weather (you do not need to wear your uniform) and bring a flashlight or headlamp. Remember, the best way to have a successful Advancement Night is to take some time before the meeting to review the requirements you want to work on. Let’s get a lot of requirements completed on Tuesday!
Our Fall Troop Court of Honor will be next Tuesday, October 26th, at Strongsville High School, beginning at 6:30 PM. Parents and family members are welcome and encouraged to attend. Our scouts were super-busy over the summer earning ranks, completing merit badges, and earning various other special awards, so we hope to see many of our members and families there to help us recognize our scouts on these amazing accomplishments! There will also be a camping picture slideshow! Scouts are reminded that they need to wear their full Class A uniform, including their neckerchief and any sashes. Please remember that everyone in attendance must wear a mask, as per our facility use agreement with Strongsville City Schools. Thanks so much for your cooperation and understanding, and we hope to see a bunch of you there!
