Conservation Service Project with the Cleveland Metroparks – Saturday, November 17th

On Saturday, November 17th, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., the troop will be assisting the Cleveland Metroparks on a conservation-based service project. We will be meeting at the Rocky River Reservation Park Operations facility, located at 4500 Valley Parkway, in Fairview Park. As part of the project, we will be working with the Metroparks on maintenance of some flower beds. Please come dressed for the weather, in clothes/boots which are able to get dirty, and bring some work gloves. All participants should also bring a water bottle, and something to eat for lunch.

Please consider joining us for this project, either for the entire time, or just for a part of it. If you are only able to stay for a portion, please indicate that on your TroopWebHost sign-up. If you are a Star scout, one of the requirements for the rank of Life is to participate in three hours at a conservation-based service project, so this is a great opportunity.

All participants must fill out a waiver BEFORE Saturday, November 17th. The waivers can be accessed from the following links:

Adult Waiver
Youth Waiver

Thanks for your help!
