It’s time once again for Troop 701 to recharter with Lake Erie Council. This process registers every adult and youth member, verifies that appropriate training has been completed, and makes sure each unit has the support of their chartered organization. We need your help to make sure our Troop and your Scout are ready for another great year of Scouting!
Please plan to join us in the high school media center on either Tuesday, November 5, or Tuesday, November 12. We will ask you to review your Scout’s medical paperwork, consent form, discipline policy, and transportation form. It is also a great time to review your contact information in TroopWebHost, as we can help you update this information online if you wish. We will ask you to review your Scout Account records for accuracy, and we will have the uniform exchange and fundraising opportunities available.
The cost to register each Scout has increased this year, but Lake Erie Council is only passing on the added insurance cost ($11 extra) to the Scouts. The cost for registration will be $75 (plus an additional $12 if your Scout wishes to receive a Boys’ Life magazine subscription). This fee will be taken from your Scout’s Scout Account, so please plan to add funds via PayPal or bring a check for this amount to the rechartering meeting dates.
