Advancement Night & PLC Meeting – Tues., Feb. 22nd

Awesome job by everyone who participated in this past weekend’s “Hatchet” Survival camp! The cold and windy weather presented quite challenging conditions, so no matter if you spent the night or were out there for the day, you should be very proud of what you accomplished!

We will be having an Advancement Night and PLC meeting this Tuesday at the Strongsville High School media center, from 7:00-8:30. You do not need to wear your Class A uniform, but please make sure to wear a mask and bring your advancement book. Scouts should spend some time before the meeting reviewing some advancements they would like to work on, as that will help them to have a more successful Advancement Night. We will also have older Scouts and leaders available to teach any requirement that a Scout would like to learn. PLC members are reminded to complete their SSC before the meeting, and Patrol Leaders are asked to bring their patrol flag to the meeting as well.

There is a lot of other important info in this week’s message. We’re still trying to fill the final few spots for the upcoming Brunswick Souper Chili Cook-off service project this Saturday, February 26th. Please read the info block below about the project, and sign up on TroopWebHost if you are able to lend a hand. There is also a hiking opportunity this upcoming Sunday, along with information about our yearly Scouting for Food drive, and an opportunity to earn a Duty to God award. Thanks so much for taking the time to read about all of the great things happening with our troop!
