Christmas-Mother-Son-Hawaiian Camp Info

We are all very excited about camp and with nearly 100 scouts and moms it’s shaping up to be a great time for all.  Below are final reminders and  a bit more information the PLC wants to share with you to help make the camp a success.

With so many scouts camping, we are short on bunks.  We ask that if scouts own a cot to please bring it. Also, if there are a few scouts that don’t mind sleeping on the cabin floor, please bring a ground pad.

Where: 4283 Paradise Road, Seville, OH 44273
When: Mom’s arrive in time for lunch Saturday at 11:30AM and stay through dinner which concludes sometime between 7:30 to 8:30PM
What Moms Bring:  Clothing to spend the afternoon outdoors, personal water bottle filled, personal coffee cup.

What Scouts Need:

  • Class A Uniform
  • Hawaiian or Beach Shirt/Apparel
  • Christmas Lights/Decorations (no tinsel/garland)
  • 1 Dozen (Homemade) Cookies
  • Extra Candy/Frosting for Gingerbread Houses
  • One Gallon of Drinking  Water
  • $10-15 Gift (Wrapped)
  • Swimsuit and Towel (Only Scouts are swimming in the morning)
  • As always, warm clothes (we will be outside most of camp)

If a mom is attending camp, she may bring the 1 dozen home-made cookies to camp on Saturday. Otherwise, scouts please bring your cookies Friday.  For everyone, please remember to put your name on your cookie container if you want to get it back.

Moms do not need to bring their own gallon of drinking water, but it’s very important that every scout arrive for camp with 1 gallon of water.

Scouts, we can’t stress this enough, please bring warm clothing that will keep you comfortable OUTSIDE.  Even though we are cabin camping in warm and comfortable cabins, we will be spending a great deal of time outside including Friday night games.
