Scouting For Food Starts Next Week

As part of our annual Scouting for Food project, our troop will be collecting household items and toiletries from scouts over the next several weeks. Items will be combined with troop grocery donations for five families served through the Strongsville Food Bank, and the surplus will be given to the Food Bank for their stock.

PLEASE BRING YOUR ASSIGNED ITEMS to one of the following upcoming troop meetings:

Tuesdays, March 14 and 21; April 4. (Note that March 28 is spring break.)

Each scout is encouraged to participate by donating the list of items assigned to his

patrol:

CARROTS

Dish soap
Two boxes of tissues
One 4-pack of toilet paper

PIRATES

2 bars of soap
Shampoo
Conditioner

SHARKS

4-pack of tooth brushes
Toothpaste
Deodorant

VIPERS

Pack of lined notebook paper
Pack of colored pencils
2-pack of glue sticks

WILDCATS

Multipurpose cleaner
2-pack of paper towels
6- or 12-pack of pens

TIP/NEW SCOUTS

Dishwasher detergent
Box of 24 crayons

STAFF

Laundry detergent
1-inch binder

Patrols with full participation will receive incentive beads for their flag. Adult volunteers are needed to obtain sturdy banker-box size boxes, provide freezer and/or refrigeratorspace for groceries, and assist with delivery to the Strongsville Food Bank on Saturday, April 8 th at noon.
