The annual Strongsville Yard Charge service project will be on Saturday, November 3rd. Please join us, and other scouting groups in the city, to assist Senior Citizens in need of yard cleanup. In addition to scouts, family members and friends are encouraged to attend, as more hands certainly make for quicker work. Sign-ups are available on TroopWebHost.
We will be meeting on the Strongsville Commons at 9:00 a.m., to raise the Kiwanis flags in recognition of Veterans Day. After the flags have been raised, we will split in to groups, pass out yard assignments, and begin raking and cleaning up yards in the city.
Please wear your troop t-shirt, and come dressed for the weather. Other important items to bring are a water bottle, rake, leaf blower, and tarps to carry the leaves up to the tree lawn.
Yard Charge is one of our troop’s most important and beneficial service projects of the year, so please make time to assist us on the morning of November 3rd. Thanks so much for your help!
