Get On The Trail With Troop 701
For 40 years, boys have joined Troop 701 for one simple reason: “Because they wanted to.” Since 1979, we are proud to see 155 Scouts earn the rank of Eagle Scout in our program. Eagle or not, one thing is certain: they all experience adventure, discovery and teamwork together.

About The Troop
Our strong retention and participation are proof that a youth-led program is fun and engaging. We are youth-led and patrol-focused. We camp 11 months a year. Our culture holds the view that strong meeting and camping attendance are essential to a successful youth development experience.
We’re Regional
Our home base is Strongsville, Ohio, yet we attract and welcome into our program boys from neighboring communities. In addition to Strongsville, we currently have Scouts in the troop from Brunswick, Berea, Columbia Station, Olmsted Falls, Broadview Heights, Hinckley, Middleburg Heights and Parma Heights.
