Thank you to everyone in the Troop who has reached out to support the Segert Family after their house fire. We are happy to report that they are all safe, but this has certainly been a stressful time for them.
They have been able to identify some resources that may help them borrow furniture and other items while they are in temporary housing. Please watch your email over the next week in case they have additional needs that these resources can’t provide.
If anyone would like to send them a message of support, we can collect cards and notes at the Tuesday meetings. Laura will have a collection box available during the meetings on 3/1 and 3/8, and at our committee meeting on 3/15. If you would like to donate gift cards, Walmart, Target or Amazon would be the most helpful, as their kitchen and a bathroom are expected to have many items that will need to be replaced.
