Hey everyone, as you know, my name is Caleb Sepesy and I am the Senior Patrol Leader for Troop 701. This Summer, from July 29th to August 2nd, I will be hosting a backpacking camp for 5 days and 4 nights in the Zaleski State Forest in southeast Ohio, about 3 hours away. During the 5 days, we will be hiking a total of 31 miles (or more). This camp is open to all scouts that have attended at least one backpacking trip with the troop. The scouts must be able to carry 30-40 pounds in their pack over rough and hilly terrain. This trip will cost $125 per person who attends, which will include gas, food, supplies, and a custom t-shirt (all money is due by May 31st). Plus, all miles hiked count toward Boot Club awards!
