Troop 701 Flag Retirement Day
Starting at 10:00 a.m. Sat., Sept. 19, Troop 701 will retire American flags that are no longer fit for service. This all-day event will start at 10:00 a.m. and run throughout the day. Scouts and parents are needed to help with flag retirements, as we have several hundred flags to be retired and estimate the process will take at least eight hours. We will meet at 447 Ridge Road in Hinckley. The property is located on the east side of Ridge Road just north of Mattingly. Scouts are asked to sign-up for a single two-hour shift. An Eventbrite registration page is forthcoming along with more information on this event.
