The first Committee Meeting of the new scouting year will be on Tuesday, August 27th, during the regular troop meeting. If the weather is nice, bring a chair and we’ll meet in the parking lot. If the weather does not cooperate, we’ll meet on the mezzanine level of the media center at Strongsville High School.
If you are not a committee member, you are welcome to attend and learn more about the troop’s inner workings.
In addition, we have a need for two committee positions:
Treasurer – We are looking for someone to handle the day-to-day collection of troop payments, logging of payments, and depositing funds to the troop bank account. This person will work in conjunction with Casey George to manage the troop finances.
Gear Exchange Coordinator – This person will store and catalog the items donated to the troop gear exchange. They will bring the gear to parent’s meetings and new scout registration nights. They will also accept donated items from the troop.
