I will be having a work day for my Eagle Scout project on Saturday, August 15th from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Richfield Heritage Preserve. The address for Richfield Heritage Preserve is 4374 Broadview Rd, Richfield, OH 44286. For my project, I’m making an orienteering course at Richfield Heritage Preserve. On the 15th, we will be installing the markers (which we made at the last work day) for the course.
You will need to bring a full water bottle and a mask. If you would prefer to have work gloves, you can bring those as well. I will be providing a snack to everyone who comes, as well as water if you need it. Throughout the entire project, I will be carefully following guidelines to make sure that everyone is as safe as possible from Covid-19. If you are interested in helping me on the 15th, please email me to let me know. Since we need to limit the size of groups right now, I will limit the number of scouts that can volunteer for this to four. If you volunteer, I will let you know if you were one of the first four people or not.
In the likely case that we do not finish installing all of the markers on the 15th, there will be a second work day on August 22nd, also from 10:00 to 1:00 at Richfield Heritage Preserve. If you would like to sign up for that work day, please email me to let me know. There is a chance that I will not need a second work day. I will let you know if I need volunteers for a second work day or not after the 15th. Also, if Cuyahoga County or Summit County (where Richfield Heritage Preserve is located) have enough cases to be considered Level 3/red counties on the 15th, I will have to cancel the work day on the 15th. I will only know if it needs to be cancelled or not two days before it is scheduled. If I have to cancel last minute due to Covid-19 or the weather, I will let you know as soon as possible.
