Beaumont allows each summer camper to bring a bicycle with them for the week. The camp is large, so having a bike is really helpful, and also fun! If you have a bike, we encourage you to bring it. Council requires the use of a helmet on the property for youth and adults riding bikes.
Please note that the camp roads are dirt and gravel, and bikes will be stored outdoors. Do consider this when deciding to bring your bike.
We ask that the bike is in good working order and that tires are inflated according to the manufacturer’s recommendations (usually printed right on the tire).
The troop is assisting with getting scouts outfitted for bike use at summer camp. Please contact Mrs. Leslie Moder if:
- You do not have a bike and/or helmet but would be interested in borrowing one.
- If you have a bike and/ or helmet that you would be willing to loan to a scout for the week.
- You have a bike and want to bring it but are unable to transport it to camp.
- You have the capacity to transport an additional bike or bikes to and from camp.
