The Rotary Club of Strongsville, our chartered organization, will hold their Chili Open Golf Classic fundraiser on Saturday, February 23. Our scouts help each year with parking and running a hole-in-one contest.
This is one of the few troop service projects that take place during the winter months, and is an excellent opportunity to complete ALL of the service hours required for the Citizenship in the Community Merit Badge. A scout who wishes to apply his service hours to this merit badge must seek and receive verbal permission to sign up from his adult advisor or merit badge counselor.
We are especially in need of older scouts during the first shift (8:30-11:30 a.m.) to help with directing cars where to park.
