Thank you to everyone who attended the Early Fall Parent Meeting. Attached below is the handout from the meeting, with some addendum of additional information relayed at the meeting.
Quick Executive Summary:
– The Rotary Club of Strongsville, our chartered organization, would be happy to welcome any troop parents as new members, and would like to invite all of us to support their fall fundraiser, “A Taste in Strongsville,” on Thursday, October 3. Please see the handout for more information.
– Encourage your Scouts to attend backpacking camp in October, especially if he hasn’t backpacked before. It is a 24 hour experience that opens doors for future adventures!
– Signup for camp and driving each month on TroopWebHost. This year, we are asking you to please try to complete your signup by Sunday night to help our food buyers prepare for the camp. Thanks for letting us know your intention as early as you can!
– November camp (Nov 8-10) is Mother & Son camp at Firelands Scout Reservation. A cabin is available for moms on Friday and Saturday, or you can join the troop during the day on Saturday. More details to follow, but please save the weekend if you can.
