Fishing and Service Opportunity – Tuesday, August 13th

Caleb is back with another activity four our Scouts to enjoy this summer. On Tuesday, August 13th, he will be holding a fishing and service event at Brunswick Lake from 6:00-8:30 PM. This may be one of the last opportunities to earn service hours for the 2023-24 troop Community Service Award. This is also a great opportunity to just come out and enjoy some fishing time with your fellow Scouts!

Here are some details about the event: We will be meeting in the parking lot behind the Panera Bread in Brunswick (1405 Parschen Rd., Brunswick, OH 44212) at 6:00 PM. We will spend some time hiking the trail around the lake picking up trash, and then find some good spots to toss some lines in and fish. Please bring a fishing pole, bait, and tackle, along with some gloves and plastic bags for picking up trash. Please also dress for the weather, bring a rain jacket, and a water bottle. If you do not have any fishing gear, you are still welcome to come, as you will be able to use some of the fishing gear that other people bring.

Participants can be picked up in the parking lot at 8:30 PM. Please sign up on TroopWebHost if you are planning to attend. If you have any questions, please contact Caleb. We hope to see you there!
