My name is Tanya Hauck and I am looking for volunteers for the Food and Supply Purchaser Committee. This committee fulfills an important function for our troop, as we make sure that our Scouts and Leaders have what they need at camp to stay healthy, safe, and well-fed!
I understand that people may have weeks they are too busy to fit extra shopping in. For this reason, I am hoping to get a list of people willing to be contacted to possibly shop. I will put out an email close to camp purchasing time to find out who is available. Once I know who is available, I can split the list up between a few members, so you don’t have to commit to making purchases every month, but can help when you are able to.
The camp buy list is often not complete until the Wednesday before camp so we generally have Thursday and Friday before departure to do our shopping.
