Saturday January 13th is Polar Bear!
For polar bear scouts will build a shelter and sleep in it for the night. To give scouts and parents a heads up, please keep in mind that scouts need the following gear and supplies.
- Warm winter sleeping bag and/or extra sleeping bag and blankets.
- ground pad
- warm hats, gloves, snow boots and warm coat
- thermal or fleece sleeping layer
- warm sleeping socks
- fleece neck gator (optional but nice)
- tarp and rope
