We are excited to see all of you in person for our meeting on Tuesday!
Just a few reminders from our COVID-19 Safety Protocol:
- All participants must wear masks and remain 6 feet from other participants at all times.
- Our meeting will be held outside, and our participants will be divided into separate patrols of no more than 10 individuals. These groups will remain separate for the activities that occur at the meeting.
- Please make sure your Scout and anyone attending the meeting is healthy before you leave home. In particular, anyone with any of the following symptoms should not participate in Scouting activities:
Cough, Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Fatigue, Muscle or body aches
Headache, New loss of taste or smell
Sore throat, Congestion or runny nose
Nausea or vomiting, Diarrhea - Every participant will have their temperature taken and attendance logged before they can participate in the Scouting activity. Any one with a temperature greater than 100 degrees Fahrenheit will not be allowed to stay at the meeting.
- Temperature logs for 14 days will be required for any Scouting activity at a Lake Erie Council facility (i.e. monthly camping weekends). We are not requiring a written temperature log for weekly meetings, but we do ask our families to monitor for fever and other symptoms and take appropriate precautions of any signs of illness develop. Since we will be camping (hopefully) each month, and will be required to have a log before each camp, keeping a personal daily temperature log for all family members might be a beneficial habit to develop, but we will not ask to see these until our camping weekends.
- Any individual with an exposure to someone with confirmed COVID-19, or suspected of having COVID-19, should not participate in Scouting activities. If a participant becomes aware of this type of exposure, or if a participant becomes sick, please inform Troop 701 right away.
Additional information can be found in the COVID-19 Safety Plan.
See you Tuesday!
