Kids Fest Service Opportunities

The Rotary Club Kids Fest and Duck Race on Saturday, August 21 is quickly approaching. This event was cancelled last year, and delayed this year from its usual time in the spring. Everyone is hoping that this year will be a great success for our chartered organization, and a great opportunity for our community to get together again. For those of you who haven’t participated in this event in the past, it is lots of fun and a great way to spend a Saturday!

Troop 701 contributes to this event in several important ways. We staff a rope bridge (see photo) IMG_5130.jpeg , assist with a climbing wall, help with parking duties, and follow the ducks down the river during the race. None of this is difficult work, but we do need many hands to help make this event successful.

We would love for Scouts and their families to sign up to help. Please use TroopWebHost to sign up for shifts throughout Saturday (you are allowed to sign up for multiple shifts), or for setup on Friday night. We particularly need help after 11:30am on Saturday.

Thank you for helping the Rotary make this a great day for the kids in our community!
