Have you always wanted to show off your acting skills to the world, but haven’t been able to break through those Hollywood barriers? Well, here’s your chance! Join us for Lights, Camera, Action! Camp the weekend of January 17-19, at Beaumont Scout Reservation in Rock Creek, OH. The cost for the weekend is $25, and we ask that you please sign up on TroopWebHost by Sunday, January 12.
The patrols will be filming the majority of their movies before camp, but there will still be movie and meme based activities throughout the weekend. On Saturday evening, we will hold the World Premieres of each movie, which will be followed by an award ceremony!
We will be staying in heated cabins, but will still be spending the majority of the weekend outside. Please come prepared with winter clothing, rain gear, boots, and plenty of warm socks and gloves. Also, the ground outside will probably be pretty muddy, so everyone needs to bring a pair of cabin shoes that will only be worn in the cabin. This will help us to keep the cabins a little cleaner during the weekend.
The troop will meet for camp departure at Chapman Elementary School at 6:45 PM on Friday, January 17th. We are anticipating a return time around 11:30 AM on Sunday the 19th, but will tweet out an update that morning.
