Our first camp of the Scouting year is Mr. Beast Gold Rush camp, scheduled for the weekend of September 8-10, at Firelands Scout Reservation. We will be camping in Gilwell Field, near the pond on the Avery Hand side of camp. Our traditional Gold Rush themed camps are always a bunch of fun, are filled with plenty of patrol spirit, and are a great way to start our camping season! The cost for camp is $25, and we are asking that you please sign up on TroopWebHost as soon as you can, as that will help us with our camp planning. Also, if you will be arriving to camp late or leaving early, please share those details in the comment field of your sign-up.
We will be tent camping, so please pack for an early-fall campout. Please remember to bring a ground tarp to help keep our tents clean. Some important gear items each scout needs to bring should include:
-Clothing appropriate for the weather forecast
-Any specific patrol gear/clothing (patrol t-shirt, bandanas, etc.)
-Sunscreen and Bug Spray
-A ground tarp and pad
-A headlamp or flashlight
-Rain gear
-Your white or green advancement book (in a ziploc bag)
-A filled water bottle
-Patrol Leaders should bring their patrol flag and nugget container
-LOTS of patrol spirit!
