It was great welcoming our new Scouts to the troop last week, and we enjoyed getting to know their parents at the first of our New Parent Meetings! We will get together again this Tuesday (3/3) for the second part of our orientation.
This week, Assistant Scoutmaster Leslie Moder will present her “gear petting zoo.” Clothing, camping equipment, the items that are must-haves and those that aren’t necessary. There will be time to interact with some equipment and ask questions. Parents will also have the opportunity to ask any other troop-related questions.
Although these meetings are geared (oops – no pun intended) for our new families, all of our troop families are welcome to join us!
Our newest Scouts who have just joined us this month are in the beginning stages of their Troop Introduction Program (TIP). Below, please find the TIP schedule for this year:
