The camp is also Christmas Camp and we have special instructions to share. We will be cabin camping but each scout needs to be prepared for outside games and activities.
In addition to Winter clothes, please bring:
- One gallon of fresh drinking water.
- Swim trunks, water shoes and beach towel – we will be camping indoors with a pool!
- For the holiday exchange, a wrapped gift valued at $15. Gifts should be Scouting- and age-appropriate, wrapped, but not tagged.
- One dozen holiday cookies – cookies should be homemade, according to the Scout’s favorite recipe. Santa’s reindeer frown on store-bought cookies. No Oreos – even if they are double-stuffed. If you bring your cookies in a container, and would like the container back, make sure that your name is on it.
- Decorations for the cabin and the “decorate the patrol leader” contest. No tinsel.
- Candy decorations for the extreme gingerbread house competition.
- Boy Scout field uniform (“Class A”) is required. Bring it with you, but you don’t need to wear it.
