September Camp at Mohican Wilderness – Sept. 5-7

For September Camp the Troop will be headed to Mohican Wilderness for some warm-weather fun on the river!

We are asking everyone to please sign up on TroopWebHost as soon as you can, as it will help us provide the correct number to the campground.

For those Scouts who still need to earn the Camping merit badge, one of the electives for one of the requirements is to go on a non-motorized boat trip, which would be fulfilled by attending camp and joining us on our canoe trip.

With the canoeing, camping, and food expenses, the cost of the camp for each scout will be $50. Scouting America registered parents are also welcome to join us for this camp, either for the weekend, or for the canoe trip on Saturday. Sorry – no siblings. The Scouts will camp with their patrols, not with parents. As guests of the troop, parents are asked to join the troop for all meals – no outside food or beverages allowed. Parents, please bring your own tent if you choose to camp.

Parents who are planning to attend should also sign up on TroopWebHost, or indicate in the notes section of your son’s signup that you are joining us for the weekend.

We will be sharing more details about the camp as it gets closer, but if you have any questions, please let us know.
