I am looking for scouts to help me with my Eagle Scout project on Tuesday, June 11th from 5:30-8:00 pm. We will be distributing flyers in the Waterford Crossing development. If you are able to help, please meet me at the Waterford Crossing Clubhouse parking lot. Please wear your Class A uniform and comfortable shoes. My Eagle Scout project will benefit the residents at the Shurmer Place Memory Assisted Living Center by providing them with a library of books, DVDs, and magazines. Ideal items for the library are large print books with vivid pictures, holiday books, musicals, non-violent, simple plot line DVDs, colorful magazines with popular subjects like flowers, old cars, or animals. These materials can reduce stress and help residents remember the past. If you have materials you would like to donate, please bring them to a troop meeting. Thank you.
