Thank you to everyone for your response to the summer camp survey, especially since we asked for such a quick reply.
Based on the feedback from all of our families, we have secured our spot at Beaumont Scout Reservation in Rock Creek, Ohio, for July 12-18. We hope that this location – within state borders and only 1.5 hours from Strongsville – will remove some obstacles for this year’s summer camp. We also feel that Lake Erie Council’s policies will give our troop and our families more flexibility to adapt to whatever changes the pandemic throws at us. Our friends at Heritage will be happy to welcome us back in future years, but the staff at Beaumont is thrilled to have us join them this summer!
With the location change this year, the summer camp cost (Beaumont fee plus troop incidental fees) will be $360 per Scout. Extra payments you have already made for summer camp will be transferred to your Scout’s main Scout Account. If you need us to handle these funds differently, please contact Laura (440-821-2445).
