Our next camp is Supercell Camp, scheduled for January 17th-19th, at Firelands Scout Reservation (13782 Gore Orphanage Road, Wakeman, OH 44889). Come join us for a fun camp with activities based on popular Supercell mobile games, like Clash of Clans, Brawl Stars and Clash Royale! The cost for camp is $35, and we are asking that you please sign up on TroopWebHost as soon as you can. Also, if you will be arriving to camp late or leaving early, please share those details in the comment field of your sign-up. If any parents are available to assist with driving to or from camp, please sign up on either the Friday or Sunday driver sign-ups on TroopWebHost, and indicate the number of seat belts you have for Scouts and if you have room for gear.
We will be meeting for camp at Chapman Elementary School at 6:45 PM on Friday, January 17th. We are expecting a return to Chapman around 10:30 AM on Sunday, January 19th.
With the different viruses circulating around this time of year, we ask everyone to please perform some self-screening for illness before leaving for camp. If you are not feeling well, please stay home, so that you can get better!
We will be staying in heated cabins, but will still be spending the majority of the weekend outside. Please come prepared with winter clothing, boots, and plenty of warm socks and gloves. You do not need to wear or bring your Class A uniform. Some important gear items each scout needs to bring include:
-Boots and winter clothing
-A headlamp or flashlight
-Rain gear
-Some garbage bags for any wet/muddy clothing or gear
-Your white or green advancement book (in a ziploc bag)
-A filled water bottle
-Patrol Leaders should bring their patrol flag
-Enthusiasm for a great camp!
