The new Scouting year is underway! Beginning tomorrow, Aug. 18, Troop 701 will resume meeting at Chapman Elementary School. Weekly troop meetings will continue to be 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays. Scouts are to wear their official Boy Scout field uniform (BSA shirt, shorts/pants, belt and socks) except on advancement nights, typically the Tuesday following a campout.
This Tuesday is also the night to sign up for Gold Rush Camp, Aug. 28-30, at the Byzantine Monastery of the Poor Clares, 6688 Cady Rd., North Royalton.
Chapman was the troop’s “home” for many years, so we are excited to be return there.
