Can you help with one of the following troop committee tasks?
- Gear Exchange Coordinator, troop logistics subcommittee. Responsibilities: Accept donations, organize and store items, communicate with families looking for items, and bring all supplies to a few troop events (ie family picnic, rechartering nights) per year. This is an ideal role for any family with a younger, growing Scout, as the coordinator gets first dibs on any new donations!
- Scouting for Food, service subcommittee. Responsibilities: organize the collection and delivery of food and household items to the Strongsville Food Bank in the spring of each year.
- Old Patch Sales, fundraising committee. Do you have experience with eBay or Facebook Marketplace? Troop 701 has a collection of older, unneeded patches that need to find a new home. Responsibilities: create and manage a method to sell these items for the benefit of the troop.
