There will be a regular Troop meeting this Tuesday evening at Strongsville High School, please wear your Class A uniform. Our Quartermaster crew will be meeting at the Troop storage locker to help prepare gear for camp, and then will be transported back to the high school to join the rest of the troop.
This Tuesday is also the deadline to sign up on TroopWebHost for this weekend’s Backpacking Camp. The cost for camp is $20, since each participant needs to bring their own food with them for the weekend. Please take a few minutes to read the important information about camp below.
We are asking every 6th and 7th grade Scout who is attending camp to please bring your backpack to this week’s meeting packed with the gear you will be bringing to camp. Our youth and adult leaders will go through your gear with you, make suggestions, and answer any questions you may have. If a Scout needs to borrow a backpack for camp, we will have some at the meeting. Just bring your camp gear in a duffel bag, so that we can review it with you. Any Scout in 8th grade or above who would also like to bring their gear to the meeting is welcome to do so.
